Is hiring a Manager for September 2026

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Manager to join our team of Early Years Professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Early Years education with relevant experience as a leader (either a Manager/Deputy Manager) and have a genuine love for working with children from 2-5years old, being part of a team and supporting the Christian ethos of the Playgroup. 

As the Nursery Manager, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment within a Christian Playgroup that supports all the development of young children, socially, emotionally, physically, intellectually, linguistically and spiritually.

We are a term time only Nursery (38 weeks a year), with sessions running from 8.15am until 1pm.

Requirements:

- Relevant Level 3 or above in Childcare/Early Years

- Have experience as a leader within a setting

- A committed Christian

- Great understanding of safeguarding, SEND and the EYFS

- Great communication skills

- A passion to lead a team to provide a safe and nurturing environment

- Great organisation skills

- Great time management
