Job Advert – Nursery Practitioner

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join our team of Early Years Professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Early Years education and have a genuine love for working with children from 2-5 years old, being part of a team and supporting the Christian ethos of the Playgroup.

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment within a Christian Playgroup that supports all the development of young children, socially, emotionally, physically, intellectually, linguistically and spiritually. Also to demonstrate positive relationships with the children in your care, the families and the team you will be working with.

Working Hours:  Wednesday (8.45 – 13.15)

Thursday (8.00 – 13.15)

Friday (08.00 – 13.15)

We are open term time only and outside of the above hours there will be Staff Meetings to attend once every half term from 13.15 – 15.00 (approx.) and working at various Playgroup events such as Christmas Concert/Party etc throughout the year when all staff are expected to attend.

Also, some work will be expected to be done outside of Playgroup hours such as Training, planning for your Area of Learning week, Key Children’s paperwork etc, all of which will be paid at your hourly rate.
